Honorable, selfless, loyal and caring…  All of these words have been used time and again by countless individuals to describe Josh Mandel-and he deserves each and every one of them.  For those of you who may not know Josh, he currently serves as a State Representative in Ohio’s House of Representatives.  But before serving as an elected official, Josh served with the Marines in Iraq.  Proud to be a Marine and proud to serve his country, Josh joined the Marines because he believed serving his country was important.  As a Marine, Josh did what every Marine does, he served his country and he served his fellow Marines.  You see for Josh, like most Marines, the Marine motto-Semper Fideles really means something.  It means always faithful.  And that is exactly the type of Marine and State Representative that Josh Mandel is-Always Faithful.

Faithful to the Marines still serving; faithful to the people who live in his district, faithful to his family, and perhaps most important of all-faithful in his service to our country.  When Josh was a Marine, he did everything he could both for his country and his fellow Marines.  Now that he’s home, he’s doing everything he can do for them here and that is why the Iran Divestment Bill is so important.  Those serving in our armed forces have been faithful in their service to us, and we need to be faithful in our support for them.  As Moms, we are deeply grateful to have leaders in our state, indeed in our country, such as Josh Mandel and we thank him for his efforts.
